DocuWare ISO 15489-1:2016 Compliant

DocuWare has demonstrated that it meets all requirements of the international standard ISO 15489-1:2016 Information and Documentation – Records Management – Part 1: Concepts and Principles, as stated in the audit report No. PVIT 003RE-2017. Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology (SIQ) audited DocuWare and issued a certification of compliance.


External compliance certifications help assure customers that they are using a product of the highest available quality. To continue to meet its goal of providing top-quality software to its customers, DocuWare, the worldwide operating Document Management Systems (DMS) specialist, audited its software with regards to compliance with ISO 15489-1:2016. The main goal of the ISO 15489-1:2016 audit was to check if ISO 15489-1:2016 concepts and principles have been implemented to ensure that any users of the DocuWare document management system are not exposed to unnecessary risks. The SIQ audit confirmed that DocuWare implements, maintains and develops its DocuWare document management system and DMS services in full compliance with ISO 15489-1:2016 concepts and principles.
